About: Susan Dunklee

I am a member of the US Biathlon Team residing at the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY. Biathlon is a sport that involves cross country ski racing and rifle marksmanship. I learned to ski at the ripe age of 2 in my homeland, Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. However, I am a new comer to shooting, having picked it up following my graduation from Dartmouth College in 2008. My first biathlon season went well; I represented the US in the IBU cups in Germany and the Czech Republic, and I ended the season as the 2009 National Sprint Champion. This coming winter I hope to qualify for the Vancouver Olympics. Besides skiing and shooting, I love hiking, biking, trail running, canoeing, and practically anything involving mountains and the outdoors.
